5Q's w/Alicia Wszelaki and Russell Webb "A Gift For All Ages" Directors

#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it in less than 140 characters?

"A Gift For All Ages" touches on the classic themes of life, love, and Christmas.

#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience toknow about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

It may look, sound, and feel like 1823 New York City in wintertime, but A Gift For All Ages was written, produced, shot, and continues its post production (with your help) in Borrego Springs, by local Borregans.

#3: What is your movie making background? Tell us about yourself.

Executive Producer/Director Russell Webb is a retired actor, director and theatrical technician who, after graduating from San Diego State and Portland State Colleges, worked in educational and regional theaters all over the country. Although a lifelong dream, this is his first sojourn into film making. A San Diego native, he currently lives in Borrego Springs with his rescue dog Gili Elohe ('G' for short).

Director and Co-writer, Alicia Wszelaki is a visual creative who has been working in the media industry for over two decades. As a director, producer and editor, her passion is telling other people’s stories. She is part-owner of Path 88 Productions, which produces travel films and inspirational documentaries. She enjoys being outside and has walked both the Camino de Santiago, and Japan’s 88 Temples pilgrimage. Twice.

#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made? 75% of the production was paid for through self-financing, but we're still looking for support to help pay for the additional 25% of funding. Contributions to our fundraising campaign will be used to complete the film for the 2022 film festival circuit. Help us by visiting www.AGiftForAllAgesFilm.com!

#5: What does the future hold for your film and you? We've been submitting the film to multiple film festivals throughout the world. By the end of 2022, we hope that every family can snuggle together in their homes to watch the film on a streaming network.
