5Q's w/Daryl Getman "Double Exposure" Director

#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it in less than 140 characters?

When imagination, reality and work life collide, we are led on Dani’s journey of self-empowerment and the life altering potential of love in NYC.

#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

Double Exposure is a twist on romantic comedy with heightened elements of music and dance.

#3: What is your movie making background? Tell us about yourself.

I come out of the Broadway Theater industry, having worked as a performer and creative for many years and it was important to us to bring elements of the stage to the screen and utilize the many talents of others (cast + creative) that have come through the theater industry as well.

#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?

Surround yourself with an incredible cast, crew and creative team and the process can be smooth and fun for all involved BUT also that everything takes time and money, so you have to be prepared for that on the front end.

#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?

We are working on the feature length version of Double Exposure! Stay tuned as we delve deeper into Dani's journey, with twists and turns that will take the audience on a theatrical ride.
