5Q's w/Luis De Val and Diego Herrero "A Night in the Cósmico" Directors

1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it in less than 140 characters?

Salvador meets Esmeralda at the CÓSMICO BAR. Both are two soulmates who fight between doing the right or what they really want.

#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

CÓSMICO, in Spanish, is something that has a relation with the COSMOS. COSMOS is the universe, stars, amazing phenomenons, universal order; sometimes the stars and the incredibles phenomenons are not only in the sky.

#3: What is your movie making background? Tell us about yourself.

Luis has been the producer of many important Spanish films. This is his first movie as a director. On the other hand, Diego has significant experience as an advertising director but it is also his first fiction production.

#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?

Many things, but not all, must be under control.

#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?

We are waiting for the end of the festival circuit. At the moment the film has achieved a good result, but it's never enough; although it's a very interesting starting point, as directors.

To tell stories is like a drug, when you try it for the first time, you'll never stop doing it.
