5Q's w/Pedro de la Llave "Behind the Glass" Director
#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it in less than 140 characters?
Behind the glass is an animated drama about a man struggling to overcome his own limitations.
#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?
I think the less they know, the better. That way the experience could be more personal.
#3: What is your movie making background? Tell us about yourself.
I have been working on it during 4 years, and on that time, I have lived on 3 different countries, cause I'm a character animator working on movies. I think that has helped me a lot about seen my story from different perspectives. it has been a really crazy journey, but so worth it.
#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?
You have to ask for feedback, I never did during the whole process because I was afraid nobody would like it, at the end they seem to love it and I'm really happy with the result, but even so, ask for feedback.
#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?
You never know, but I already got way more awards that I expected, so I guess the future for my film is being uploaded to internet so everyone can watch it, and for me, I guess more films are waiting to be created.
