Director Biography - AMIT BHATTACHARYA

Amit Bhattacharya is a cinematographer and educator who bridges several worlds. Born in Bethesda, USA, Amit grew up in Kolkata, India. An early fascination with photography and cinema led Amit to the USA in 1986 as an undergraduate at Columbia College – Hollywood. He continued his education at The American Film Institute earning an MFA in cinematography in 1994.
