Bad

Originally envisioned as a music video for the song, “Past Perfect,” the project evolved into the hybrid short film “Bad.”  It begins as a music video with a “cowboy” wandering and singing about escaping his past.  This is interrupted by a kind of psychological drama - with a disaffected “dude” being tormented by some unseen voice.  The cowboy and the dude are played as two parts of the same personality.

Both storylines are set in the Anza-Borrego desert, a grandiose backdrop for their narrative arcs as they collide into each other, leaving us questioning the meaning of our existence and the illusory world we inhabit.
