5Q's w/Elizabeth Serra " A Made Bed" Director, Writer
QUESTION#1: Can you describe your film in one sentence?
When escaped convicts hold her family hostage, a young girl discovers the importance of enunciation.
QUESTION#2: What would you like the BSFF audience to know about your film that they wouldn't consider from it's title?
Finding a title for this short film was actually tricky for me. I wanted to create a play on words that would make sense getting to the punch line. I don't know if I succeeded, but I hope the audience enjoys it regardless!
QUESTION#3: Can you tell us about yourself and your filmmaking career?
I began directing stage productions and when I moved to California in 2010 it made sense to try my hand at directing film. "When in Rome" as they say. I took some courses at a local community college and after making my first short film, I was hooked.
QUESTION#4: What have you learned in the process of making your film?
Always back up your data. Always.
QUESTION#5: What's does the future hold for this film and you?
This is nearly the end of A Made Bed's festival run which means we can release it to the unsuspecting public! Bwahaha! ::ahem:: As for me, I will continue to create and tell stories and hopefully achieve my goal of having a SyFy Original Film!
