5Q's w/Pat Battistini "Ms. Rossi Takes The Cake" Director, Writer, Producer

QUESTION#1: Can you describe your film in one sentence?:

While on her travels as a Loan Officer for the bank, Ms. Rossi encounters some obstacles along the way while just trying to do her job.

QUESTION#2: What would you like the BSFF audience to know about your film that they wouldn't consider from it's title?:

The film was shot in Italy and is in Italian because the language adds so much more authenticity to the film. But even though the film is in Italian, the comedy is tailored for the American audience.

QUESTION#3: Can you tell us about yourself and your filmmaking career?:

I actually started out my career working on stage and in front of the camera. Thought I still do some on-camera work, I started writing and directing about twenty years ago. As writer/director, I've made about fifteen short films. I've also produced several more including three feature films.

QUESTION#4: What have you learned in the process of making your film?:

The most challenging thing, in my opinion, is to make films that I enjoy making but also resonate with audiences.

QUESTION#5: What's does the future hold for this film and you?:

I'm currently working on my feature film directing debut and also developing more European romantic-comedies for the American audience.
