#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it?

It’s a noir-comedy tale of murder, intrigue, betrayal, and self improvement. See it. It’ll make you giggle.

#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

The film is my love letter to film noir and screwball comedies… and the films of Peter Bogdanovich, Billy Wilder, Frank Capra, Jim Jarmusch, and the Coen Brothers. It’s a fun romp, and yes, if you watch it you will also learn the 6 Dynamic Laws for Success in Life, Love, and Money.

#3: What is your movie making background? Tell us about yourself.

I live and work in Idaho, and have been making films here for nearly 25 years. Professionally, I started as a documentary film editor, later producing, directing (as well as shooting and editing) two of my own feature documentaries, Jens Pulver | DRIVEN, about the legendary MMA fighter, and Bloodsworth - An Innocent Man about Kirk Noble Bloodsworth the first death row inmate exonerated by DNA evidence in the US. Since 6 Dynamic Laws I’ve shot and edited a number of films, including my most recent film, Making Sense, which features a diverse cast of individuals with disabilities. Currently, I’m in post-production on that film, while working to put together my next picture, Kill Thy Neighbor, a satire on predatory capitalism and gun violence in America.

#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?

Follow your gut. Always be kind. Get the shot.

#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?

My hope is that people continue to discover the film, enjoy the film, share the film, and that I can continue making new work.
