#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it in less than 280 characters?

My movie "Fortune" opens with a young man who finds a phone number inside a fortune cookie. Through a series of mysterious phone conversations, he slowly pieces together the truth

#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

Fortune is a live-action with occasional animated text typography overlay.

#3: What is your movie making background? Tell us about yourself.

Anthony Newen has been making films since he was 16 years old. He moved to Los Angeles right after high school and has since worked in the film industry making narrative shorts, commercials, and internet videos.

#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?

The biggest lesson I learned was to make the time to work on your film. You can't do it on your spare/free time. You have to give your time the time it deserves to be the best it can be.

#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?

Fortune will continue to be sent to festivals to play and hopefully end up with an online distributor. Anthony and Stephen Todt (main actor) has collaborated on two short videos since Fortune was completed.
