#2: What do you want the Borrego FilmFestival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

We Know You Have a Choice isn't your typical comedy. It's a one woman rampage against modern technology and three people she can't see.

#3: What is your movie making background?  Tell us about yourself.

I'm a writer and director, and recent films include the documentary, "Studs Terkel: Listening to America" (Emmy nomination); "A Note of Triumph: The Golden Age of Norman Corwin", which won the Oscar for Documentary Short and received a nomination from the International Documentary Association (IDA) for Distinguished Achievement; "On Tiptoe: Gentle Steps to Freedom" (Oscar nomination, IDA Award, Emmy nomination). Broadway writing credits include the hit play "Lombardi", "Magic/Bird", and "Bronx Bombers", which I also directed.

#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?

Having only one actor on screen makes it surprisingly difficult to edit... there's nothing and no one else to cut if something isn't working. 

#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?

We hope to bring We Know You Have a Choice to as many festivals as possible. My team and I have already completed a second short film, House of Stairs, which will be beginning its festival circuit soon. We're now gearing up for short film number three to help us raise money and awareness for a feature project.
