#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it in less than 140 characters?

"Steinbeck Country" is a retrospective on the author, his work, and an insightful modern perspective on what he called, "this monster land."

#2: What do you want the Borrego Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

It showcases the famous author and his trip home to California in 1960—part of his journey around America which resulted in his book, Travels with Charley.

#3: What is your movie making background?  Tell us about yourself.

I’m a career film, video, digital media producer and a principal at Wind River Media, Inc. in San Diego, CA.  This is my first documentary for a popular audience.

#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?

That I could actually work with my brother, Greg, whose book, Travels with Max, inspired this film.  Greg also wrote "Steinbeck Country".

#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?

John Steinbeck’s son, Thomas and wife, Gail have called our film, “fantastic” and they’ve offered their help to determine it’s future.  Who better?
