BSFF Monthly Film Series Presents!
We are pleased to announce the holiday presentation of 2 special films as part of the BSFF monthly “Film Series”! This month’s screening will take place at the Borrego Springs Library on December 17th at 2pm.
First on the bill is the locally produced short film “A Gift For All Ages.” This homage to the golden era of Hollywood is a Christmas movie wherein a cheerful stranger invades the home of a frustrated author and his wife. The odd fellow heartens a timeless gift for generations.
After the screening a short intermission will take place. Borregan directors Alicia Wszelaki and Russell Webb will do a quick Q&A session before our feature presentation.
The feature film is the holiday Hollywood classic “Holiday Affair”!
Just before Christmas, department store clerk Steve Mason meets big spending customer Connie Ennis, really a commercial spy. He unmasks her but lets her go, which gets him fired. They end up on a date, which doesn't sit well with Connie's steady suitor, Carl, but delights her son Timmy, who doesn't want Carl for a step-dad. Romantic complications follow.
