Director Biography - Annie Rhodes Kane

Annie Rhodes Kane is a film director, screenwriter & photographer based out of Los Angeles, California. What began as a passion for photography transitioned into dreams of filmmaking after making a short film in New York City about the experience of a miscarriage. This film opened up a conversation with her grandmother that nobody had ever had with her. Realizing that her work could spark a dialogue and positively resonate with someone, Annie was hooked. She moved to Los Angeles to get a jumpstart on her career while completing her undergraduate degree online. During this time, she worked with clients such as RSA Films, Sony Music and Red Bull to name a few. Seeking a deeper understanding of her craft and a community of like-minded filmmakers, Annie began earning her MFA in Film Production at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts at the top of 2020.
