Director Biography - Yfke van Berckelaer

Born and raised in the Netherlands, Yfke grew up wanting to be a magical princess. Disappointed by the lack of magic in the world, she became a writer/director instead, so she could at least create her own fairytales. Her films have screened at over a hundred festivals all over the world including Fantasia, Beyond Fest and Fantaspoa and have won over fifty international awards. To this day, Yfke still often wears (blood-splattered) sparkling dresses and waves a magical wand.
