Director Biography - Justin Streichman

Justin Streichman is a queer filmmaker and editor based in Los Angeles, CA. His work has screened at the Hammer Museum, Manetti Shrem Museum of Art, Ars Electronica, and internationally at dance film festivals. He recently edited the opera film, Star Choir, programmed to screen at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in fall 2024. He is currently finishing post-production on the psychological horror film Lady Puritan (co-director and editor), which explores themes of generational trauma. Streichman holds an MFA from UC Davis and a BA from UCLA.
