A short documentary about the challenges a baby spider monkey named Kalu faces growing up in the jungle of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. He must learn to climb, forage for food, communicate, face predators and make difficult decisions in order to survive. It shows the resilience and beauty of nature and highlights the importance of protecting it for future generations. The film is narrated by George McGavin, one of Britain's leading entomologists and naturalists, and produced with support from the BioSur Foundation, a NGO working to protect rain forest in Costa Rica.

Director Biography - Roman Willi, Matteo Clarke
Matteo Clarke is a young wildlife filmmaker. Over the last few years he has worked on some substantial series, such as HOME - Africa from the BBC, Great Lakes Untamed for TVO, Birds for ARTE, as well as directing some of his own films such as Bristol: A Hidden Eden.
Roman Willi an award winning wildlife photographer, filmmaker and conservationist from Lucerne, Switzerland working as a freelance camera op and director. He has been awarded for his work in numerous international competitions such as "Wildlife Photographer Of The Year".
