Join BSFF invited filmmakers and moderators for an interactive panel discussion about the craft of low-budget-indy-film. Learn tips that you can apply to your future productions.

All of us filmmakers tend to have a favorite trick up our sleeve that we love using. Whatever it is, it can be simple or involved, but it’s our always our “ace” card that we always like to hold.

What’s yours? A straightforward lighting technique? A particular color grading scheme in post production? How to do a nifty camera move with only a paper clip and a rubber band? A cool way to modify a lens for a great optical effect? Where to find the best bagels for the craft services table? A fun turn of phrase that you like putting in your scripts? A nifty pre-production tool that saved you from making a mistake on set? Having a productive and nurturing interpersonal relationship based on mutual respect and admiration with your talented cast and crew that you don’t take for granted?

It could be anything from how you “MacGyver it” to how you “Cormat McCarthy it.”

Share it with your fellow colleagues in this fun and collaborative round-table conversation.
