Borrego Springs has a long history with film making. Not only has it served as a vacation destination and home for many A-List actors, but it has been a featured location in countless films, old and new. We want to continue that tradition.

We have been deemed “The Filmmakers Film Festival”: Film Freeway has recognized us as the “Top 100 Best Reviewed Festivals,” worldwide. As we look forward to the next 10 years we want to honor and expand on that by reaching more filmmakers, and more film enthusiasts.

We want to provide our community with quality programming, draw outsiders to the festival, and expose potential filmmakers to Borrego Springs as a filming destination; all of this bringing in more commerce for the community.
