QUESTION#1: Can you describe your film in one sentence?:

An obese multiple sclerosis patient takes up his late Father's sport of boxing to overcome personal tragedy and find inner peace.

QUESTION#2: What would you like the BSFF audience to know about your film that they wouldn't consider from it's title?:

"Bobcat Moretti" was filmed over the course of ten months, during COVID-19, allowing our lead actor to lose 154-pounds and embody the role. The film also features a Coolio cameo which marks his final on screen performance.

QUESTION#3: Can you tell us about yourself and your filmmaking career?:

I'm a graduate of Chapman University, where I produced the first film by my peers, the Duffer Brothers, who later created "Stranger Things". As part of a scholarship, I was mentored by Academy Award winning director William Friedkin for a year. Later, I was honored as "Alumnus of the Year" by Chapman University's Dodge College in 2009. Since graduation, I have worked nonstop making feels based on concepts that I'm inspired by.

QUESTION#4: What have you learned in the process of making your film?:

That I'm getting older and older, but my budgets keep getting lower and lower, which makes my job tougher and tougher. However, if it was easy, everyone would do it and as long as my heart's still beating, I'll be up for the challenge of growing and growing as a filmmaker.

QUESTION#5: What's does the future hold for this film and you?:

Distribution, summer 2023! It will be "out there", everywhere, but it comes down to amazing support from festivals like Borrego Springs and word of mouth because we can't possibly compete with the marketing dollars of studio films.
