#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it?

Why see this movie ? Big question ! Because it may give you some childhood memories. Because it talks about parents, family, happiness and social relations. Because it's short and musical.

#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

The « dojo » is the place where you learn and practice martial arts, but it means as well the place you search your way. For me it talks about the kids who are searching their way, in a word of fury and madness.

#3: What is your movie making background?  Tell us about yourself.

« Dojo » is my 12th short movie. I have presented my 11th called « De Glace » at the BSFF in 2017. « Dojo » is the continuation of this work with sports places to talk about the current society.

#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?

I have learned a lot on the shooting, working with a wondeful team. The best one was to be focus on my goal and my vision. To don't hesitate and follow my feeling.

#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?

« Dojo » continues to be screened all around the world, and it a big satisfaction and pride for me.

At the moment, I'm working on the third movie of this trilogy about sport and society (olympic trilogy). The story will take place in a weight room. Maybe at the BSFF 2021!?
