5Q's w/Kevin Turner (et al.) "Hear Me" Filmmakers

#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it?

An emotional journey of a girl struggling with selective mutism as she prepares for an oral interview into her dream college.

#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title?

When Kennedy decides to prepare for an interview into her dream college, she must not only confront her selective mutism, the inability to talk in front of others, but the trauma that caused it in the first place. Hear Me is a story of perseverance. It asks the question, “What are we willing to put ourselves through for a chance at a dream. And is it worth it?”
