#1: Can you describe your movie and why somebody should see it?
Young Will Shakespeare Chases Inspiration for Future Plays
#2: What do you want the Borrego Springs Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title? This animated film will be published as picture book in 2020 by Page Street Kids Press.
#3: What is your movie making background? Tell us about yourself.
My son and I are a filmmaking team of award-winning documentaries. This is our first animated film. Our second animated film is currently in production with a April 2020 end date.
#4: What was the biggest lesson learned in getting your film made?
Animation is very expensive, be sure you have your ducks in a straight row before you (music, sound and strong concept) before you contact an animator. Unlike video, when you can film and film, animation mistakes are costly!
#5: What does the future hold for your film and you?
My son and I are working on a new animated environmental film for kids. We have this unspoken goal to make a film a year until I am 75 ( which is two short years away). After 75, I am going to explore writing and producing podcasts about fantasy funerals.😉
